About Us
 Global School Support Services For Ghana West Africa has a four member board of directors that volunteers all of their time to support children in Ghana West Africa.
We started the work there in 2006 with ten children and one teacher. Now in 2015 we have 300 children and ten teachers, cooks and leadership. The children go to school 220 days out of the year. Could you sponsor a child?
They receive good education, shoes, a uniform, snacks and a meal. The cost for a child to attend school is $90 dollars a year. The children are pre-kindergarten through the 12th grade.
The students are taught like any other school with all subjects, English and computer. There is no network out in the country, but they have programming that is taught on the computer.
Soccer is the only sport they know and do they love it. Health is taught in the school every day. There is water and now they have outhouses like many of us had 60 years ago. The school is as good as any in Ghana outside of the main cities. Swedru is a small area, but the children are as nice as anyone would ever meet.
No one receives any Pay at Global School Support Services, All the money goes to the children in Ghana.
